Third-placed Metro-Claremont threw away the Division One title this afternoon when they only managed a 4-4 draw against fifth-placed Hobart United at home at North Chigwell.

Southern FC, who had completed their program, thus took out the Division title without kicking a ball today.

It’s all still waiting to happen in the Southern Premier League today, with the championship and the top-four positions all up for grabs.

Current leaders Beachside can claim the league title with a win or a draw away to ninth-placed Kingborough Lions United at 2.30pm at Lightwood Park.
