But he forced the shot wide? Surely that's his job.

Having watched most of the Boro games this season, I would say that the keeper is one import actually making a real effort.

Spot on he did his job and saved at least 5 goals if not more.
I would say he is leading Lions best and fairest at this moment by a mile.

Doesn't mean he's any good - have you looked at the ones he's letting in??

Is that why the goalkeeper didn't take his own goal kicks all of the first half as well as being unable to deal with the high balls???
He has pulled off some good saves but is still tends to be erratic at times, he is one of the better imports for sure but not that impressive other than one game against Olympia

What self proclaimed super coach puts his role on his back, it might read sacked coach in a couple of weeks..

Football is in a mess at present.
Botched NPL summer series.
SAP has fallen by the wayside
No support for Referees
Social competition rosters a shambles
Poor youth structure
Unexpectable youth rosters.
FFT TD in Melbourne for a week, I presume for Roy. Competitions manager in Dubai for a wedding (fair enough)
Someone from FFT needs to be here to deal with the situations that have arisen as it's the beginning of ALL competitions.
A lot of unhappy people in the football community and will FFT come out and publicly apologise for the poor excuctions of the competitions.

Quoting facts:
The facts keep proving themselves:
FACT - Worst EVER start for Kingborough - and equal of ANY team in the NPL (See Rangers last season)
FACT - The worst Kingborough Squad ever too - to be honest - only 1-2 of them would be in the team if all last years players stayed. The coach had no idea of the standard in TAS....Its not a high standard - but he under estimated it.
FACT - All the players left because they realised the coach had no idea and had the people skills of a tyrant. It had nothing to do with the training load. Why didn't the board see this?
FACT - Gab is only there as second choice - Greg Calvert appeared at last years dinner to be the no.1 - what happened there?
Soon to be FACT - Glenorchy will thrash them next week.

they're not facts they're opinions

I'm sorry, but where did these imports come from? Souths forward line is made up of kids and they made Kingboroughs defence look awful. Even if they play as individuals, they are bad ones at that.
