Leaders Glenorchy Knights should have few problems in dealing with bottom-side Metro when they meet in a Southern Championship clash at KGV Park at 2.30pm tomorrow.

The Knights are unbeaten, while Metro have lost all six of their games and are 3 points adrift of second-last Southern FC.

Metro have a better goal-difference than Southern FC and a win would lift them off the foot of the table, but it’s unlikely to happen this weekend.

Striker Ethan Engels is back from Thailand and will slot into the Knights attack, while his brother, Kurt Engels, has recovered from a hamstring injury and will be included in the squad and may get a run at some time during the game.

Striker Mathew Nowicki has completed his suspension and returns to the line-up for Knights, adding some physical strength and firepower.

Twins Declan and Callum Brown will be in the Knights squad after showing good form in the Challenge League.

Defender Jade Clay is still not over a hamstring strain and remains sidelined, as is Jack Kupsch, who pulled up sore after last weekend’s 2-2 draw away to Taroona.

Coach Franco Previdi will probably select his final squad on Saturday morning.

Second-placed Beachside have the bye, while third-ranked University are away to fourth-placed New Town Eagles at Clare Street at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Taroona, in fifth spot, visit Sherburd Park to take on Southern FC and should come away with a win.

Hobart United, currently sixth, host third-last Nelson at Brighton tomorrow.
