Quoting Merry Xmas:
Very pleased that Port played well & got the win. Avondale will be the real test. Win that and they can start bragging about being the greatest. Northcote were really poor. Defending was atrocious. Couldn’t keep the ball. Bunch of demoralised individuals. The reality is that anything else than a win would’ve been embarrassing. Hope they can do the biz in the next round.

What team do you coach

Yes agreed. But we need to offer both clubs the kudos when speaking about great Tasmanian individual sides.

Quoting Finally:
Now we dont have to listen to Olympia say they are the only team to win away. Fantastic win Port, a Tassie team we can all be proud of.

But no one has done this before in fa cup they have done it twice remarkable & compition with A league sides in
And have biggest attendances for cup games by thousands

Can we just give the Strikers automatic qualification to the FFA cup? Seems they are the only ones who can do anything in it!

Credit to Devonport on their win, I would have been shocked if they lost though, Northcote were terrible. They are about to be relegated and their best player left them during the week! Bemused on how they actually got as far as they did in the cup.

Well taken goals by Barnard and Stone. Mann with a couple of quality assists, the Strikers were absolutely doing it all! Unbelievable teamwork and heart, what a win from our boys. Fantastic.
