Can anyone please tell me the result of the Social Vase Final?

5-1 to Olympia, Walter.

Speedy recovery to Colin Shep, poor bugger ended up with teeth stuck to his tongue after a headclash and a quick trip to emergency.
Also to Youssef, who usually is the one dishing out :) copped a beauty to his nose from a stray leg, might shut him for a bit!

Walter I believe it was 5-1 to Olympia. They conceded the first goal and then the rest was one way traffic.

Thanks, #35 Anonymous. That's why I published the photo. I thought it was a good one and I tried to give it a tongue-in-cheek caption. I'm glad some people appreciate the intent and don't think I was trying to attack Markaj in some way. I tried to use a few photos to convey the great atmosphere at the ground (eg photo of Devonport's bus, crowded grandstand and people lining the fence, Markaj with pet dog) rather than just straight action shots. Cheers!

Why was there not a top class referee for the women's final?
cost lions a goal their number 6 was cutting Taroona apart. Where was the advantage. this goal would of made it 1-1 and lions would of been a different team.

What constitutes a yellow card for contact with elbows. shorely the excuses of wasn't forceful enough doesn't cut it.

The players and spectators at least in a big final should have the best official's officiating the game.

Bad luck Lions
After the clear advantage you gained from the semi due to some very odd decisions I'm not sure you have much to complain about.

I am a neutral who turned up to watch the final. Pointless telling me about the previous game and I expect quality officiating at such big games. Is it not the players and spectators rights to have the best officials?
