There were no proper officials for this game as a referees’ seminar was being conducted at Football Federation Tasmania headquarters at KGV Park, following the FFT AGM at the same venue.

It didn’t matter as not even an official referee would have altered the scoreline in this one-sided contest.

Calder United, playing their third game in two days, were unstoppable and almost scored at will.

Alek Sinclair completed a wonderful tour of Hobart with a hat-trick, while Alana Burn scored a brace. Catherine Zimmerman, Raquel Deralis, Emma Robers and Kasha Meyer also scored to add to their personal tallies in the two previous tour games.

Olympia were but a shadow of the side one normally associates with this club in women’s football and much rebuilding needs to be done, as well as some recruiting.

Tasmanian women’s football is not in a good place at present.

When a visiting interstate team can come here and score 22 goals and concede none in three games, it equates to a crisis.

And, two of those games were against the top two teams in women's football last season.

Just use the page for scores mate .

Slice of cheese blog was the best on the day for correct score updates and impartial info.

So they should have a huge budget financed by the Club's .

#13.What a ridiculous comment.Have you played any sport? For social reasons as you put it?I bet there were people in that team/club that you did not like or get on with AND vice versa. That is called LIFE.Thats what happens in life.Thats what happens at work.Thats what happens on committees ETC ETC .

I am from the Armed Forces so I play sport for fun! it relives the pressure from everyday duties.
I know that everyone I work with has my back and I have theirs. If not we will not be successful in what we do.
People who want to be with each other will always be successful but where we have people that do not get on etc then success is very limited.

I'm not familiar with the teams enough to know who was missing but these results are really disappointing. The likes of Rhodesy put a positive spin on womens which is nice but too much over the top talking up of players sometimes, this reality check is probably not a bad thing. But is it a crisis, I'm not sure but doesn't get me excited for the WSL. Not sure if FFT have a new womens football person yet.

Saw some of this Rhodes fellows stars today.?....get real and stop the bias.

The women's game is in crisis but not due to the games against Calder.
It's been sacrificed by the very people who should be developing and promoting it.
I'm afraid many people talk the talk but don't walk the walk.
