Tasmania’s players came from Burnie, Devonport, Launceston and Hobart.
“All teams competed well against some very strong teams from Victoria, and Queenland,” said Tasmania’s head of AFA, Romeo Frediani.
“There were some heavy losses on the first day, but all teams improved on the second and third days with some very narrow loses, a few games drawn and some wins.
“The sportsmanship shown by all the teams was great, and the effort that all players put in throughout the tournament was exceptional.

“The Under-15 boys made it to the quarterfinals but were eliminated.
“The awards night saw Tasmania pick up a number of awards, including Tasmanian coach of the tournament, Nic Eduljee, Tasmanian manager award, Nicki Parry.
“Three players were selected for the all-star teams. There are only five players chosen in each age group and these are a goalkeeper and 4 court players.
