The club already has many junior teams.

They last had a men's side two or three years ago, so Banks thinks it's about time the Derwent Valley was again represented in men's football.

All ages from 18 and over for the men’s side are being sought and new and experienced players are welcome.

If you are keen to play or would like more information, contact Colin Banks via email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call/text 0406119074 or visit the New Norfolk Soccer club Facebook page.

Ha ha. The boots will be on but I'm a fair bit slower than the donkey of old. More like a lame ass.
Thanks for the support. Borough days were super.

Great to see Colin revive senior soccer in the valley of love. Is donkey pulling the boots on to dazzle like he did at the borough. Legend of the game. Get on board the valley!

Thanks mate.
Tynwald's a lovely ground and a smashing drive along the river for visiting teams.
Hopefully I'll get enough interest so please spread the word around.
Cheers

This is great news , I played against ANM in the late 50's .

When coaching Christian Utd I recall the stirring encounters we experienced at Tywald Park .

I hope this initiative comes to fruition .

Every good wish
