Jayden Hey of Glenorchy Knights has won the inaugural Mitsubishi Motors Best-and-Fairest Player Award for the Victory League competition.

Hey, 19, a midfielder, polled 31 votes, 3 more than second-placed Jonathon Ladic of Tilford Zebras, also a midfielder.

Beachside will be without the injured Aaron Brazendale when they take on South Hobart in the Southern Premier League final-four series at KGV park tomorrow at 4.45pm.

The rest of the Beachside squad is unchanged and they go into this game having lost 3-0 to South Hobart in the last league meeting between the sides.

League champions South Hobart go into tomorrow’s Victory Cup final at 2pm at KGV Park as firm favourites to beat Devonport City, who finished a long way behind in second place in the league.

South Hobart should be at full strength, with even Kostas Kanakaris recovered from injury and likely to play some part.
