Has written for "Soccer Action" (Melbourne), "Australian Soccer Weekly" (Sydney) and "World Soccer" (London), as well as for several Tasmanian newspapers. Currently contributing to "Goal!Weekly" in Melbourne and the Australian magazine "Soccer International". Played for Croatia-Glenorchy, Caledonians, Metro, Rapid and University in Tasmania, as well as in the United States of America. Coached University, Metro and Croatia-Glenorchy.

Launceston City will sign Dutch goalkeeper Jordy van de Corput for the 2014 Victory League season in the New Year.

The 24-year-old former Feyenoord and FC Utrecht player is City’s first new signing announced for the coming season and follows his appearance for the club in last Saturday’s game against the visiting Total Futbol International squad from New South Wales.

The visiting Total Futbol International academy side from Sydney wound up their Tasmanian tour this evening with a 3-1 win over the NTC at KGV Park.

The tourists from New South Wales played six games in Hobart, winning four and losing two.

The worst-kept secret in local football was that South Hobart’s Shae Hickey had left the club to join Glenorchy Knights for the 2014 Victory League season.

The Knights held a belated media conference at KGV Park this morning to announce Hickey’s move.

The touring Total Futbol International Academy squad from New South Wales beat South Hobart 4-1 at KGV Park on Friday night in the second game of their six-match tour of southern Tasmania.

The visitors completely dominated the opening half and led 3-0 at the interval.
