The V-League is going to be spoilt by one thing and one thing only, Referees! They are embarrassingly bad! Hopefully this new Specsavers Sponsor takes them for a few eye tests in the coming weeks!

Has Craig lost the plot?

The first yellow for Mizael (sorry spellimg) their was not a Sth Hobart player standing on the ball, technically a card but some flexibility for the rules can surely be used. Second yellow the same thing. He didn't deliberatley stand over the ball.

What you don't see from the video is whether Mizael has been standing over the ball on previous free kicks, and been warned. Regardless of how far away he is, he is still trying to stop the kick being taken, something which he does all the time - good to see someone acting upon it!

Very poor defending from Eagles number 9 in most/all goals constantly loosing his player and making stupid tackles. if im not mistaken I remember him doing the same thing in multiple reserves games last season.
He should never be allowed in a defenders 18yard box again.

I hope the referee panel have a look at this, and discuss with the ref in question. No wonder players and fans alike get frustrated . Very poor

Also the red to the Eagled player, was that for the foul on the keeper? Or something else? If it was for the foul that's incredibly soft.

I have played in games like this in which the referee gets hard giving out cards and it frustrates those on the field and easily gets out of control.
