A teacher by profession, but is now in his 38th year as a football writer. Has written for "Soccer Action" (Melbourne), "Australian Soccer Weekly" (Sydney) and "World Soccer" (London), as well as for several Tasmanian newspapers. Currently contributing to "Goal!Weekly" in Melbourne and the Australian magazine "Soccer International". Played for Croatia-Glenorchy, Caledonians, Metro, Rapid and University in Tasmania, as well as in the United States of America. Coached University, Metro and Croatia-Glenorchy.

Both of these were great games!! Was very impressed with both of the page boys in the final, would not have minded an olympi goal to make things a little more exciting! Nick Morton looked good but seems to lose that appeal when stepping up into the V-League squad!

Womens game was a great watch despite the conditions! After all the controversy with whether the NTC should have been, I was glad I stayed to watch as my opinions of the girls game has certainly risen since seeing this! Great day all round
