Would like an explanation from fft on how they came up with the rules regarding spl for victory clubs. This will explain why sh are struggling to field teams and I am sure others will. Sh will have a strong div 2 side but they can't play spl due to not being picked in v league and are not under 20. I think rather than throw stones at clubs maybe fft should admit they have structure wrong and remedy it now before forfeits start. Fft should be commended for v league but should also be criticized for the rest of he structure.

They were ctriticized for the structure below and there was even a meeting to express concerns but it fell on deaf ears

What a polite way of saying that the Club Presidents (as a group) recommended a different format, the FFT Technical advisory committee recommended a different format...in fact just about everyone that I spoke to saw problems, even the FFT CEO has been heard to be critical. Unfortunately those at the top didn't listen.
Perhaps FFT would like to regale us with the actual registration numbers this year to date. I hear that they are close to 300 down. Watch for the fees to go up to make up the shortfall in income.

So who has the decision rights on competitions and rule changes?

The same people that proposed this idiotic format...FFT

Walter, any news on the footage from the CUFC v South SPL game? there was a camera on the sidelines that would have some great content for the blog.

Clarence didn't lose buddy, they WON 8-0.
Just write again mate. It is said that south against clarence lost, cheers!

City will never beat dport at home. It hasn't happened for many of a year let alone when city's squad is more than likely the worst in the clubs history.

Great that you can bet on games. Going to put a dollar on Launceston City to beat Devonport next game, might be able to pay my mortgage off.

Some questions need to be asked to FFT by all club presidents. Which is FFA are putting more money into the game down here but FFT has not increased it Network. Apparently Blaise left the NDO position but i haven't heard of a replacement and only people close would know the reason Blaise left. The SDO is now coaching the elite teams and i thought his job was about getting around schools and clubs to promote and encourage kids to play the game. Well 3 years down the track there is nobody new in the FFT coaching network so were is the money going. FFT have not increased their network to where the game is supposed to be heading. It is the clubs rights to have either the NDO, or the SDO come to help with trianing and coaching as this organisation needs to learn to be more flexable and not say i can't mondays or tuesdays because i am coaching the elite players. That is nowhere good enough.

These are some fair comments. I haven't seen Kurt around any clubs doing sessions only Dean. Is Kurt away on holidays or are we missing something here

Anyone tell me how Kingborough's Hill went yesterday?
Heard he started on the bench yesterday then came on at Centre Back, looked far more comfortable there and also looked pretty good. All be it against a struggling Launceston side.
Is this true?

Hill came on at about the 70th minute, and played reasonably well, to be honest he didn't have much to do as City were pinned in their half for most of the time he was on..

Don't pick on Zebs GK , he did his job , they are playing players with names not form . Pichy needs to use his bench and things will change. 3 players could have come off and they still would have been in the game . It's only round 2 plenty of time .need to use width and a different formation , they have too many that play the same stlye they need to mix it and become the power house that they should be . I still put them in the 1 st 2 good luck to all .

Putting the knife in already George's boy.
