South Hobart can extend their lead at the top of the Victory League standings to a massive 8 points if they overcome second-placed Devonport City at 2pm at South Hobart Oval tomorrow.

And, a win for the leaders is a distinct possibility as they are playing efficient football that is way above that being produced by the other teams in the competition.

A magnificent goal from the half-way line by Aaron Cairns helped Tilford Zebras beat Northern Rangers 3-2 on Saturday in the State-wide Victory League competition.

After a goalless opening half, a shot by centre-back Andrew Telega took a deflection of Zebras’ team-mate and central defender Jacob Clamp in the 64th minute to put Zebras ahead against Rangers at KGV Park on Saturday night.
