Twenty-four Tasmanian coaches commenced the C Level coaching licence course at Warrior Park today.
The course, conducted by Football Federation Tasmania’s Michael Edwards and Kurt Reynolds, is a 14-day course run over several months.

There were quite a few Victory League coaches and assistant coaches attending the course today.
Glenn McNeill of Olympia Warriors, Stephen Pitchford, Tommy Fotak and Romeo Frediani from Tilford Zebras, Chris McKenna and Nick Owen from Devonport City, Chris Hey, Matthew Rhodes and Zarko Baltic from Glenorchy Knights, and Peter McBeath from Northern Rangers were just some of the coaches in attendance.

Jon Price, who is involved with the Woodbridge club, veteran Glyn Jenkins, who once coached South Hobart and White Eagles, and Dallas Joiner and Chris Oddie were also there.
I also noticed former Taroona senior coach Ben Horgan and Clarence United women’s goalkeeper Amelia VanderNiet at the course.
The course continues tomorrow and next weekend before a break and will resume just before Christmas and continue into next year.

Cook coaches the Under-13 and 14 Tasmanian girls’ teams and won recognition for the rapid technical development of the squads under his care.
He was presented with his award by Socceroos coach, Holger Osieck, at the awards evening at the Sofitel Hotel in Sydney on Wednesday.
Sydney FC’s marquee player, Alessandro Del Piero, was the guest of honour at the function.
The latest A-League results this weekend are:

Bobby Eaves, who played with South Hobart this past season, has signed for Devonport City for next season's inaugural Victory League season.
Eaves hails from the North-West Coast and Devonport City is close to home for the midfielder.
