Eagles CSE and Zebras qualified for the final of the Australian Futsal Association’s Premier League competition when they won their semi-finals at the Moonah Sports Centre this evening.
Eagles CSE beat Kingbrough Lions United FC 9-4, while Zebras squeezed home 12-10 against Get Ripped.

Josh Thorpe grabbed 8 goals for Zebras in their win over Get Ripped.
In the curtain-raiser to the semi-finals, Zebras Youth beat Prophecy 11-5.
The final is at the Moonah Sports Centre next Thursday evening.

More female players over the age of 40 years are being sought for Tasmania’s masters’ women’s side, the Tassie Strikers, who will compete in next year’s World Masters Games in Italy.
The Tassie Strikers are the world champions, having won the title in 2009.
The side has also won four gold medals, one silver and one bronze at Pan Pacific Games tournaments.
The 2013 tournament in Italy will be held from 2-12 August.
Any female players interested should contact Rocky on 0447 624 819 as soon as possible because players have to be registered.
Male players wishing to compete at the tournament in Italy should contact Mark Gobbey on 0418 795 401.
