Fabian Lapolla, the 22-year-old Tilford Zebras midfielder, has signed for Olympia Warriors.

He trained with the club last night and, provided he is cleared, will be available for selection against New Town Eagles next Saturday night.

Thomas Ubaldi made his senior debut for Olympia Warriors’ Premier League side in the recent 12-0 win over Derwent United in the preliminary round of the Milan Lakoseljac Memorial Trophy.

And, the 24-year-old who trialled with Everton and Portsmouth as a teenager, scored on his second touch.

I know it's only the first week of the league, but attached below is the current Southern Premier League ladder after the opening round.

If teams are level on points, goal-difference and number of goals scored, the convention is for them to then be ranked in alphabetical order.

Apparently, the FFT system doesn't cater for this and so their league table is different.  I believe the one attached is the correct table.  It's no big deal, though, as it's only the first round.
