Southern FC are proving to be the surprise package in the Southern League One competition under astute coach, Mick Trotter.

Southern are top of the standings and can maintain that position by beating fifth-placed visitors Metro at Sherburd Park at 2.30pm tomorrow.

Devonport City travel to the NTCA Ground in Launceston tomorrow to take on Northern Rangers in a top-of-the-table Northern Premier League match starting at 2.30pm.

City head the standings with 7 points from three outings, while second-placed Rangers have a perfect record from their two starts.

This sets the scene for a mammoth clash to determine leadership of the competition.
