Has written for "Soccer Action" (Melbourne), "Australian Soccer Weekly" (Sydney) and "World Soccer" (London), as well as for several Tasmanian newspapers. Currently contributing to "Goal!Weekly" in Melbourne and the Australian magazine "Soccer International". Played for Croatia-Glenorchy, Caledonians, Metro, Rapid and University in Tasmania, as well as in the United States of America. Coached University, Metro and Croatia-Glenorchy.

Football Federation Australia (FFA) today announced that former Hyundai A-League and AFC Referee of the Year, Mark Shield, has been appointed as the new FFA Director of Referees as part of the national body’s new Referee Development structure.

Devonport City striker Chris McKenna is a strong favourite to win this year’s George Dale Medal as the Northern Premier League’s best-and-fairest player.

The medal count will be held at the Mount Pleasant Showroom, Country Club Resort, Prospect Vale, on Saturday night.

The Qantas Joeys have recorded a 4-0 win over Myanmar in their second match of the AFC U-16 Championship qualifier at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok last night.

Olympia Warriors Under-14s beat the touring Northern New South Wales Under-12s 5-0 at Warrior Park tonight.

Olympia led 3-0 at the break through goals by Hamish McInerney, Zac Bueschner and Jeremy Gangell.
