Tomorrow, it’s third-placed Devonport City’s chance to take on Forestry Tasmania Northern Premier League leaders Northern Rangers.

A win at home at Valley Road could see Devonport at the top of the standings.

This weekend promises to be one of the most exciting of the Forestry Tasmanian Southern Premier League season, with important games scheduled for the leading four sides and the bottom four teams.

Leaders South Hobart visit Clare Street at 2.30pm on Saturday to take on second-placed New Town Eagles, while at 6.30pm, third-placed Clarence United host fourth-ranked Tilford Zebras at Wentworth Park.

Today at 8pm, bottom-side Olympia Warriors travel to KGV Park to meet sixth-placed Glenorchy Knights, while on Sunday at 2.30pm, second-last Beachside entertain fifth-ranked Kingborough Lions United at Sandown Park.

Points will be worth their weight in gold in all these fixtures and the destiny of some clubs this season will be made a little more certain.
