No wonder I can never win the Pools.

My predictions for this weekend’s cup and league matches so far stand at 33 per cent correct.

I was way off the mark with the Burnie United versus Taroona quarterfinal tie in the Milan Lakoseljac Memorial Trophy competition.

Milan Lakoseljac Memorial Trophy Quarterfinals

Devonport City 2 (McKenna, Mulraney) beat Glenorchy Knights 1 (Roberts)

Olympia Warriors 2 (Corbett 41, Colosimo 76) beat Tilford Zebras 1 (Self 70)

Burnie United 1 lost to Taroona 3 (Hoppitt, Luttmer, Dove)

I’m going to stick my neck out this weekend and predict the semi-finalists in the Milan Lakoseljac Memorial Trophy State-wide competition.

Burnie United, Devonport City, Tilford Zebras and South Hobart are the teams I think will progress from this weekend’s quarterfinals, which will make it two Northern sides and two Southern teams to play for a berth in the final.
