It’s State-wide Top-Four finals time this weekend and anything can happen.

This is what a revived State League could look like, and it’s very appealing, with different teams and new faces on view for Northern and Southern fans.

There are different opponents, unfamiliar playing styles and varied venues for coaches to contend with, which all adds to the interest.

The draw for the European Champions League was conducted in Monaco this morning (Australian time).

Barcelona captain Carles Puyol brought out the European Champions League trophy and placed it on the stage at the beginning of the draw ceremony.

Sydney FC today signed Blackburn Rovers’ Socceroo Brett Emerton on a three-year contract.

Emerton joins fellow Socceroo Harry Kewell in the coming A-League season after Kewell signed with Melbourne Victory earlier in the week.
